Visit of ICESCO Director General to Baku

Director General of ICESCO, H.E. Salim AlMalik started his visit to Azerbaijan on 1 October, 2023. ICESCO Director General will attend 74th International Astronautical Congress, which Baku will host from 2 to 6 October, 2023. During his visit to Azerbaijan on 1 October Director General of ICESCO visited the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan and participated in the 13th IAF International Meeting for Ministers and Members of Parliaments. In his speech delivered during the plenary session entitled ''Space solutions for resources management'' Director General highlighted the importance of using space-based technologies to address critical challenges related to resource management on Earth. Dr. Salim AlMalik will hold several bilateral meetings with the auhtorities of Azerbaijan during his visit.
